I joined the Braid team two years ago as office manager and enjoy working with such great colleagues. I have owned cats for over 20 years or perhaps that should read the cats have been human owners for this time. I took the plunge 9 months ago to add a flatcoat retriever puppy to the mix and my word, what a life-changer with the daft mutt taking over my life and I now feel somewhat exhausted most of the time but he does bring a smile to my face. Any spare time left over will see me imitating an athlete on the local squash courts and hill walking.

After working within the Hospitality Industry for a short period, I decided to opt for a career change and a new challenge. I joined Braid Vets in   January 1999 and worked as full-time receptionist for 7 and a half year. As the needs of the business have changed, so has my role within the practice. I   now work in our small, but busy office as an Assistant Practice Administrator. My spare time is spent looking after my young daughter and new born son.

I have been with Braid Vets since 1986, recently celebrating 30 years with the Practice. I have seen the practice change and grow a great deal in that time.  I started out as a receptionist and am now our Client Care Manager.

I started working for Braid Vets as a receptionist in July 2014, it's a role that I really enjoy.  My spare time is spent with my own 4 dogs, I have an ageing Border Collie and 3 Flatcoated Retrievers.

I breed, show and compete in agility with my dogs, which is great fun.  I am a fully approved obedience instructor (up to gold level) with the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour, I also have a certificate in Canine Psychology and I am a qualified Kennel Club agility judge.  I also run the pet dog training classes for Braid Vets.
