Our Vets

Meet the Vets...

Chris Ross

I have been a partner since 1983 and have seen the practice grow from a 3 vet mixed practice into a busy Small Animal Hospital. My areas of interest are dermatology, orthopaedics and behavioural problems. I am a member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors.

Mike Hall

I first became interested in a career as a vet when I passed by 171 Mayfield Road every day on my way to primary school. I joined the practice in 1984, and became a partner in 1988. My veterinary interests are in Internal Medicine and developing the Preventative Healthcare side of the practice. Outside of work I have been involved in rugby as a player, then referee, for over 30 years but, through my daughters, I am now learning the laws of hockey!

Scott Dickson

I joined Braid Vets in November 2003. I qualified from the ‘Dick Vet’ in 1994 and obtained a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in October 2000. My special interests are in both soft-tissue surgery and orthopaedic surgery.

Christine Ebermaier Cintra

Originally from Germany, I graduated from the ‘Free University of Berlin’ in 1996 and joined Braid Vets in 2004. My special interests are imaging and acupuncture and I am a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists.

Peter Sharp

I joined the Braid Vets team in September 2007, after having worked in the South East of England for 9 years. My areas of interest are Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Diagnostic Imaging. I'm from Edinburgh originally and am thrilled to be back home!
